Hello! I’m Ruslan, aka Brainstorm, and I’ve hiked 10,000 miles in the last ten years. An advocate of lightweight backpacking, I learned what features I wanted in a pack, but no pack delivered them all: so I began sewing my own! When not in the wilderness I live in Brooklyn, and I needed a pack for everyday use; starting with the simple, lightweight, long-distance backpacking design, I developed the FUNCTION pack. Compact yet voluminous, it includes a zippered exterior pocket, two exterior stretch pockets, shoulder strap pockets, and finally, an interior laptop sleeve. Carefully designed and handmade by me with high-quality materials, the FUNCTION Pack performs beautifully in both the metropolitan and wilderness landscapes. Since opening my shop, I've developed the LITE Pouch and TECH Tote, made with the same attention to design, craft and functionality, to assist with your everyday organizational needs.
